NORTH ORANGE COUNTY BAR ASSOCIATION

SEPTEMBER 2020 MEETING

ASS’T DA JESS RODRIGUEZ TO DISCUSS MENTAL HEALTH DIVERSION STRATEGIES

Mental health diversion opportunities are valuable treatment alternatives to conviction for many.  But the pathways are technical and there can be snags.

For example:

  • Who is eligible based on the particular crime and mental health diagnosis?
  • How do you apply for MHD and what are the procedures?
  • What experts are accepted and how are the hearings conducted?
  • How long is the Diversion Period and what is the end game!

Join us for NOCBA’s Fourth ZOOMCAST on September 23rd at 6:00 pm where these and all of your other Health Diversion Strategy questions will be answered .

Zoomers, meeting room link will be available one day prior via nocba.org and by Email, Text, Facebook and Instagram distributions.

Join us for the Ultimate Guided Tour of mental health diversions.
