Did you miss the PARS (Pretrial Assessment and Release Supervision) training? Do you want to know what it is all about? Then don’t miss out on NOCBA’s January 27th meeting and we’ll tell you all about it.

The Orange County Superior Court, with support of various county stakeholder agencies, will be implementing a Pretrial Assessment Release and Supervision (PARS) pilot program effective Wednesday, February 3, 2016.

The purpose of the PARS program is to assist the Court in making pretrial release decisions through diligent data gathering, the utilization of a validated risk assessment tool, and the application of objective analysis in the recommendation of OR releases. In addition, the purpose of the program is to proactively encourage all clients to appear at each of their Court dates and to support public safety by monitoring clients’ compliance with court ordered conditions through supervision.

The meeting will be prefixed by an appearance of our new Presiding Judge, Jon Fish. He will let us know what changes we can expect at North Court and how things will progress under his new appointment,

We hope to see you there….
